Cells...
Some cells in the Nervous System are...
Glia Cells:
Glia cells perform lots of functions in the nervous system, which include helping the nervous system repair, provide support for the brain, help in the development of the system, and provide metabolic functions for neurons. There are lots of these cells in the human body.
Astrocytes:
These cells are found in the brain's capillaries and are mostly the blood-brain barrier that stops some substances from entering the brain.
Microglia:
These cells are very small and part of the central nervous system. They take out cellular waste and protect you from micro-organisms.
Oligodendrocytes:
These cells are also in the central nervous system. They are structures that wrap some neuronal axons, which make an insulating coat, which is called myelin sheath.
Schwann Cells:
These are peripheral structures that wrap some neuronal axons, which make an insulating coat, which is called the myelin sheath.

Tissue
Nervous Tissue:
Nervous tissue senses stimuli and transmits signals to and from various body parts of an organism. Neurons are what make up nervous tissue.

Organs
There are a lot of organs in the nervous system. They are.....

Organ System
OUR ORGAN SYSTEM IS CALLED THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM!
